Pre-care & aftercare
Please follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions carefully to ensure the best results and longevity of your service. Failure to do so may affect your final outcome.
Before your appointment
Lash pre-care
- Please arrive with clean lashes, free of makeup, oils, mascara or lash curlers.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Avoid caffeine before your appointment, as it can cause your eyes to flutter or shake.
- If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before your appointment.
- Bring what makes you comfortable! (Your own headphones, fidget toys, etc.)
Brow pre-care
Before your appointment:
- Please discontinue the use of retinoids, Retin-A, AHA/BHA, glycolic acid and all active skincare products 10 days before and after your appointment.
- Avoid facials and facial treatments for 2 weeks before and after your appointment.
Lamination is not suitable for clients with (but not limited to):
- Recent eye surgery or eye infection
- Sunburn, cuts or irritated skin around the eye or brow area
- Eczema, psoriasis or extremely sensitive skin
- Extremely damaged or brittle brows
- Current use of Accutane
- Allergies to hair dye, henna, PPD or any products used during the treatment
After your appointment
Lash aftercare
- Clean lashes daily with lash shampoo.
- Avoid sleeping on your lashes.
- Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie.
- Avoid heat and steam for 24 hours.
- No mascara or oil-based products on your extensions.
- Book fills every 2–3 weeks.
Lash lift aftercare
- Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie.
- Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours.
- Avoid sleeping on your lashes.
- Avoid using waterproof mascara and a lash curler.
- Apply aftercare serum every morning and night.
- Book your lift refresh in 6–8 weeks minimum.
Brow aftercare
- Brush and apply aftercare on your brows daily with a clean spoolie.
- Avoid getting your brows wet for 24 hours.
- Avoid sleeping on your brows.
- Avoid actives or facial treatments for 2 weeks after your appointment.
- Book a brow refresh every 3–4 weeks.
